Alexander, Engineering Scheme:
“As a Trainee I have the opportunity to experience various departments in an international energy company. This has highlighted the complexity and challenges faced in the industry. Helping supply such a valuable commodity to the market makes me proud to be part of Uniper.”
Mewadee, Audit Scheme:
“What I like most about the Trainee Program is starting your job with other graduates who share the Uniper experience with you, who will soon become friends and valuable contacts that can always be approached easily. The program offers a variety of factors, such as: Solidarity among trainees, the chance to contribute and work in departments you had no prior experience in, a broad range of business contacts you will engage with during the program, and the opportunity to find out for yourself through hands-on experience what career path you like.”
Vaibhav, Procurement Scheme:
“One of the things I appreciate most about the Uniper Trainee Program is its flexibility! You can talk to your mentor at any time and agree on where you want to develop individually. Being in a big and complex organization like Uniper, having the room to experiment by your side is a great asset for one´s development. I have learnt a lot about different departments and what they do, different management styles, etc. Some great personal relationships have also been fostered through and during this journey which is the cherry on top!”
Nitol, IT Scheme:
“The program, through its’ cross functional and international placements, has greatly empowered me to move from a student to a professional IT Project Manager. Throughout the program, every day will bring you new opportunities to learn about the energy market and build strong network which will largely support your personal development. Having the flexibility to freely choose your placements in cooperation with your mentor and very helpful HR team, enables you to experience everyday work in areas which you wouldn’t have considered otherwise. It has been an exciting ride for me and I am inviting all the graduates of today to take the ride with us.”
