Uniper goes E-world
The express purpose of the 2019 E-world energy & water is to “imagine new ideas for dealing with the challenges posed by increasing residential density and climate change".
Those managing the trade exhibition consider the issues of generation, transportation, storage, trading, efficiency and “smart energy” paramount. This focus corresponds with the issues we are taking on at Uniper.
Reason enough for Uniper to have a stand of its own at this year’s E-world, where it can showcase forward-looking topics, just as it did the previous two years. Along with our proven ability to provide reliable supplies of energy, we will also be presenting a range of new products and services this year in Essen.
We are pleased at how Europe’s leading energy sector trade fair has grown in importance from year to year, not just in terms of the increasing numbers of visitors and exhibitors but also through its coverage of new trends and issues. In 2018, E-world energy & water set new records, with 750 exhibitors from 73 countries and more than 25,000 visitors. A large number visited our stand, over 1,000 of whom were customers and interested parties who had arranged meetings with our consultants and sales personnel prior to the trade show.
This year, our E-world stand will focus on liquefied natural gas (LNG) and energy storage systems, sales and trading activities, as well as new products and innovative services. Visitors will have the chance to immerse themselves in a digital world, to experience how and why we use virtual reality at Uniper. Beyond that, we will also be presenting the new “Uniper Market Solutions” app, along with the green electricity and gas products for our corporate customers. And over at the Microsoft stand, you will be able to find out about Enerlytics, Uniper’s IT solution for asset management.
Another central focus of our appearance this year at E-world will be on the issue of diversity. Our specially trained team will run a session on “Diversity & Inclusion in the Energy Sector.” Keith Martin, Chief Commercial Officer at Uniper, will open our networking event with a keynote address on February 6 at 5:15 pm at the Uniper stand. You are welcome to join and enjoy snacks and drinks while conversing with interesting guests.
