Uniper to participate in E-world
This year, Uniper’s units for energy sales and energy storage will be attending the Essen "E-world energy & water" trade fair from 16 to 18 February

Uniper’s unit for large customers (Uniper Energy Sales, Hall 3/Stand 3-150) will present a broad range of products for the delivery of electricity and natural gas as well as innovative energy solutions for industrial customers, public utilities and regional suppliers. Customers also benefit from the extensive experience of Uniper experts in providing technological solutions. The company supplies services that include, for example, measures to improve efficiency in power plant operations, remote monitoring of plant components and optimization of load profiles for industrial electricity consumers that use the latest storage technology.
Uniper also engages in a direct dialog with energy customers. Because in developing custom solutions for Uniper's customers, the company draws not only on its years of market experience and strong customer loyalty. Developing new products and services also incorporates direct feedback from customers, whose needs are becoming ever more complicated and technologically sophisticated. One example of direct collaboration with customers is the development of the Uniper Digital Platform. This platform lets the customer procure quantities of energy simply and securely and also provides them with an overview of the current market situation. Many large customers are now using Uniper Digital to manage their electricity and natural gas supply contracts.
In developing and launching innovative and sustainable energy solutions, Uniper also focuses on working together with strong partners. At E-world, Uniper will be presenting solutions jointly with the Dutch company RentaLite aimed at increasing efficiencies in the use of energy in lighting. Uniper customers can save up to 85% on lighting costs at their facilities without having to invest in high-efficient LED technology.
Partners for storage solutions
Uniper Energy Storage will be presenting an extensive and innovative range of products to customers at Stand 2-202 in Hall 2. Uniper offers products and price models for natural gas storage that are optimally tailored to current market conditions. The focus this year is on newly developed "full service products" that combine the security of a physical natural gas storage facility with the flexibility of virtual trading markets. The company will also focus on the presentation of innovative storage technologies, which are becoming ever more important thanks to Germany's energy revolution. Uniper will be presenting its wind-gas pilot projects located in Falkenhagen and Hamburg as well as the M5BAT battery storage project to illustrate future means of compensating for the fluctuation in power input from renewable sources.
