Uniper Energy Storage

Hydrogen is an important energy source of the future, and storage will play a central role in balancing fluctuations in production and supply. Uniper Energy Storage will therefore develop hydrogen storages to support the energy transition. 

A capacity of 250-600 GWh is expected to be made available in northwest Germany by the end of 2030, with the first commercial storage facility scheduled to be operational by the end of 2029. 

This non-binding market consultation survey seeks feedback from potential storage-users to ensure that we develop products based on demand.
