Inventory Financing Service

Since 2014, we have offered our customers a service to support them, and their bank, in finding individualized financing solutions for the working gas in the storage facility.

The optimization of physical storage facilities is usually very capital-intensive, as the stored gas often cannot be monetarized until months later in the withdrawal period. Our working gas financing service offers our customers the possibility to sell stored gas to a financial institution or bank at short notice and flexibly in order to generate capital. As the sale often falls under asset backed securities, it also allows for improved financing rates.

REMIT Reporting Service

Since April 7, 2016, all our customers have been obliged to report their gas inventories, including new storage facilities, to the European Energy Regulator ACER on a daily basis. This notification can also be made by the storage operator on behalf of the customer. We are pleased to offer this service for a small annual fee. Please contact us if you are interested. Short Term Capacitiy Trading

A further optimization option for our customers is the short-term trading of injection and withdrawal capacities. On the one hand, we as storage operators offer capacities available at short notice, which can be booked by our customers on a daily basis to increase their contractual injection and withdrawal capacity accordingly. On the other hand, every storage customer can sell his unused storage capacities or publish individual search requests. This trading is centrally coordinated by us. If an offer has been sold successfully, we charge a transaction fee to the provider. We guarantee easy access to the offers and requests via our storage portal and take care of the smooth processing.

Working Gas Transfers in Store

Our storage customers have the possibility to sell their injected working gas to other storage customers within the same facility. We provide a list of counterparties – and their contact details – that are available to you at each relevant storage facility. Simply use our ready-made form, to tell us the time and capacity and to be transferred at the respective storage facility. A service fee is charged for the transfer which is dependent on the amount being transferred. The rebooking form can be found in our marketing documents.

Short Call Balancing Service Epe-L

Trading Hub Europe regularly holds tenders for the balancing product "Short Call Balancing Service" in the Epe-L storage facility. Our customers in the Epe-L storage facility can conclude a supplementary agreement "Short Call Balancing Services", wich enables them to participate in the tenser with their capacities booked with us. This is a control energy product for the market area L-Gas East for the short-term provision or takeover of L-Gas quantities which can be offered from our storage facility Epe-L. We enable a smooth handling, e.g. that your working gas can be made available within the time specified by the product without nomination of NetConnect Germany.

Balancing Group Service 7Fields

For our storage facility 7Fields we offer our customers an optional connection to both the virtual trading point THE (Germany) and the virtual trading point CEGH (Austria). In contrast to Germany, transport capacities in Austria would be booked by us as the storage operator. The transport capacities booked by us can be ordered by our customers via the balance group service. This service optimizes the existing transport capacities into the Austrian market area East. Although the storage customer still orders transport capacities at one of the storage connection points "Zagling" or "Überackern" within the scope of the balance group service, we as storage operator optimize the utilization of both points. In the event of a transport interruption at one storage connection point, we try to meet the customer nominations by using potentially unused capacities at the other storage connection point. This reduces the risk of transport interruptions for our storage customers. The gas is delivered or accepted directly at the CEGH.
