Students
The programme begins with a joint induction where you’ll get to know the industry, the business and the trainees in the Nordic programme: Uniper, Vattenfall, Fortum and TVO. You’ll get an understanding of the business, the organisation and how the different parts fit together. It’s an opportunity to connect with people and start networking right from day one.
During the program, you will complete 1–2 job rotations. The job rotations include clear objectives, mentoring, and real-world tasks—this is where you put theory into practice. Depending on your background and interests, the rotations may include, for example:
- Technology & Maintenance
- Operations & Safety Analysis
- Projects & Development
- Digitalization & Innovation
Throughout the trainee program, you will regularly get together with your fellow trainees to go on field trips and participate in tailored training. Among other things, you will have the opportunity to visit the companies’ various nuclear power plants, as well as the SKB and the WANO headquarters in Paris.
The program concludes with a summary and personal reflections. You will be well-equipped, with a unique and solid foundation, and ready to build a successful career in the nuclear power industry.
