Uniper beschränkt sich auf ihre Rolle als Anteilseigner und tätigt weder neue Investitionen in Russland noch unterstützt sie Aktivitäten von Unipro finanziell.
Uniper hat entschieden, sich rechtlich und personell so weit wie möglich von ihrer russischen Geschäftseinheit Unipro zu trennen, an der Uniper mit 83,73% beteiligt ist. Unipro ist seit Sommer 2021 zum Verkauf vorgesehen. Eine Transaktion wurde mit einem inländischen Käufer vereinbart. Die politische Genehmigung für die Transaktion steht noch aus und ist unsicher.
Stromerzeugung und -vertrieb in Russland
Mit seinen rund 4.300 Mitarbeitenden ist Unipro in der Erzeugung und dem Vertrieb von Strom aktiv. Zur Erzeugungsflotte gehören fünf Gas- und Kohlekraftwerke in den Industrieregionen Zentralrussland, Ural und Westsibirien.
