Uniper advances sustainable energy in Hungary with the Tét solar park
Uniper is set to expand Hungary’s renewable energy capacity with a 90 MWp solar park in Tét, expected to begin operations in 2027. Once completed, the plant will contribute to Hungary’s energy transition.
Along with the 61 MWp Aton project in Dunaföldvár, Uniper will leverage solar power to provide renewable energy for up to 92,000 households.
The 17 megawatt peak (MWp) solar park on the landfill site of the former Wilhelmshaven coal-fired power station will generate 17,000 MWh of renewable electricity per year - enough for up to 4,500 households.
Uniper's first in the UK.
