Uniper publishes a large amount of information, which is publicly available on our website, including  our annual sustainability report. This report sets out our approach to sustainability and measures our performance and impacts across a wide range of sustainability topics, covering environmental, social and governance factors. Uniper in the UK also reports annually to the Department for Food and Rural Affairs’ (DEFRA) via the Pollutant Release Transfer Register. However, if you cannot find the information you are looking for, you may request environmental information under Environmental Information Regulations 2004 (“EIR”).

Uniper is not subject to the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

Responding to your request

Uniper will respond to requests for environmental information within 20 working days of their receipt. For complex requests and those involving large amounts of information, we may seek an extension of a further 20 days.

There may be circumstances where we cannot provide you with the information you’ve requested. When we are unable to disclose information, where possible, we will explain the reasons for refusals. Uniper will only provide information from the time the company became operational in 2016 onwards. Requests for environmental information need to be specific to allow for those processing the enquiry to understand what the applicant is asking for.

Uniper will not disclose personal data or information that could adversely impact third party intellectual property rights. These situations are set out in more detail in the Information Commissioner’s guidance.
